Lesson - Epidemiology Report Retriever

COMING SOON! Researchers interested in the statistical analyses of binary outcomes will be able to rapidly benchmark population cohorts, sex by age range by race by geography by clinical grouper to see if particular conditions and/or procedures increase the: (1) hazard ratios, (ii) relative risks, and/or (iii) odds ratios of other conditions or procedures. This report is intended to provide researchers with age-specific measures of “Risk Events” (i.e., conditions or procedures by “Clinical Groupers” or “Code Groups”) relative to later “Indexing Events” (i.e., other conditions or procedures by “Clinical Grouper” or “Code Groups”) that occur at a later time. The LDS data is a particularly rich source or information from which to systematically analyze for purposes of creating general knowledge of binary outcomes. The resulting information is expected to benefit both Providers of Services and beneficiaries by increasing knowledge of the future risks of treatment options before various treatments are undertaken.
